SearchFor OLE Automation Routine

SearchFor( searchPhrase, searchCriteria )

  • searchPhrase a search string of the type described in Searching For Words.
  • searchCriteria is a simple automation object with the following properties:
  • FileName
  • FolderName
  • BeforeTime
  • AfterTime
  • MinSize
  • MaxSize
  • Attributes
  • Reverse
  • Soundex
    •

    These have the same meanings as the corresponding fields in the search dialog.

    Returns An SearchResults object which is a list of the files in the index in which Wilbur found matches for the search phrase.
